Dave is an Arizona native who has been married to the lovely Bonnie for 25 years.

He and Bonnie have two children and have attended St. Matthew’s since 2001.  Like many musicians Dave has a “day job” - but indulges his love of music by playing piano and singing in a variety of gigs around the Valley.

John Lackie – Sexton

John keeps Saint Matthew’s looking fine as our Facilities Manager.  He was born and raised in Adrian, Michigan.

He is a life-long Episcopalian and served as an acolyte, chalice bearer, Sunday school teacher, and youth leader.  John has lived in Arizona since 1981 and is married to his elementary school sweetheart, Wendy.

You might spot John serving as Scoutmaster for Saint Matthew’s Boy Scout Troop – he earned the rank of Eagle Scout way back in 1979.

Janet is our Parish Administrator.  She grew up in Albuquerque, NM and attended New Mexico State University for her undergraduate degrees in Economics and Finance.

Janet has lived in Arizona since attending graduate school in Economics at ASU.  She is married to her college sweetheart, Mike, and they have two sons and a daughter.  The family spends a good deal of time on the soccer field, but when she has the opportunity, she loves painting.

She has painted the backdrop for Saint Matthew’s Vacation Bible School for the last several years and hopes to continue doing this in the coming years!

Debby Tartell – Office Administrator

Debby keeps the rest of us in order serving as the Office Administrator.

Debby grew up in San Antonio, Texas and tries to get back to the home state at least once a year.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from The University of Texas and is a Texas Longhorn football fan.

Debby is an avid traveler who loves to explore new places.  She dreams that one day she will live on the beach of a secluded island.

Mike serves as Deacon at Saint Matthew’s.  Mike is President and CEO of HHI Professionals, a healthcare information systems company that contracts with major health plans.

Mike’s business keeps him on the road most of the time, but you can occasionally find him at our early morning service.  Mike’s diaconal ministry centers on assisting individuals with monumental healthcare bills in navigating insurance claim disputes with their personal health plans.

In his spare time (not that there is much of that) Mike travels the world or trims his Bonsai trees.
