Sunday School is Discipleship, Fellowship, Growing, and Learning about Christ.
Saint Matthew's offers Christian education for all ages. The Children's Ministry program includes pre-schoolers through eighth-graders.

How do I enroll my child in Sunday School?
Click here to download a Sunday School Registration form. Print and complete the form and return it to the church office or bring the form with your child to their first day of class.

Where do Sunday School classes for children meet?
Pre-K (four by Sept. 1st of the current year) - Kindergarten meets in Room 9
1st - 2nd grade meets in Room 7
3rd - 4th grade meets in Room 8
5th - 6th grade meets in Room 12
7th - 12th grade - the REMIX - meets in Room 11

When does Sunday School meet?
Sunday School meets Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.

Who teaches Sunday School?
Sunday School teachers are screened and trained volunteers, usually parents of children in the program, who want to serve Christ and share His love with the youngest in the congregation. Great care is taken to assure the safety of every child at Saint Matthew's. Our teachers all complete the mandatory Safeguarding God's Children education program for preventing child sexual abuse.

What curriculum is used in Sunday School?
The excellent FaithWeaver Bible Curriculum is used in our classes. Yet, while we boast of our great curriculum, our teachers are the most important asset in our classrooms. Our teachers build relationships through sharing their own faith, stories, and experiences.  

What must a child know before attending Sunday School?
Nothing! There is no expectation of Biblical knowledge when a child enters Sunday School. The teachers are here to teach, tell stories, sing, worship, laugh, and love. All are welcome.
