Church Recycling Tips

After enjoying your treats during coffee hour please stop to sort your garbage and recycling and put them in the appropriate receptacles.  

When recycling, remember the Fab Five!

1. Clean paper - dirty plates and cups are garbage

2. Clean cardboard - no grease or food

3. Plastic beverage bottles, milk jugs and clam shell containers only

4. Aluminum cans

5. Glass food jars

Please do not "wish"cycle. Unfortunately, just because something has a recycle symbol does not mean that the City of Chandler accepts it. So we need to keep it simple - the Fab Five is what we will focus on so we don't get fined from our recycling company. Here's the Good News - this time last year we weren't recycling anything! Every piece of waste we generated was going in a landfill. BUT NOW we are recycling a fair percentage of our waste. So thank you for helping Saint Matthew's be more considerate of God's creation.
