Comfort Ministry: Intergenerational Learning Opportunity
Monday, June 15, 10:00 AM – The Living Room, C3
Saint Matthew’s Comfort Ministry has been delighted to welcome a new (and much younger!) generation of crocheters embarking on their crafting journey. With many of us having learned these skills from our own mothers and grandmothers, it brings back memories when we hear a call for “Mom!” to help unravel (literally!) those early frustrations we all endured and survived! Whether you are a beginner or experienced, young or young-at-heart, we invite you to join us. If you or your youngster who is out of school would like to learn to crochet or knit, we would be delighted to get you/them started. We have yarn, crochet hooks, knitting needles, and ideas to get you started and succeed with your first creation. Please contact Susan Cyr, one of our Comfort Ministry members, to let her know you would like to attend and learn to crochet or knit. She can then make sure one of our crafters is prepared to get you started. We hope you’ll join us on June 15!
