We are delighted to invite you to the Installation and Celebration of a New Ministry for The Rev. Monica Anne Ray Whitaker as the fourth Rector of Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church in Chandler, Arizona. The service will take place on Saturday, October 12 at 10:00 AM with The Rev. Canon Debbie Royals - Pascua Yaqui, Canon for Native American Ministry preaching and The Right Rev. Jennifer A. Reddall presiding.

Following the service, we will continue the celebration with a potluck luncheon for parishioners and visitors from around the diocese. 

Potluck Luncheon Details:

We invite our parishioners to contribute to the rector installation potluck by bringing main dishes, side dishes, and salads of their choice. A celebration cake will be provided, so please refrain from bringing additional desserts. We encourage you to consider vegetarian options and high protein/low carb dishes. Tables will be set up before the service to receive hot food in the kitchen with an overflow of side dishes in the parish hall. Some extension cords will be available for those bringing warming appliances. Please do not plan on keeping items in the fridge beforehand; consider bringing an ice tray or a cooler if your dish needs to stay refrigerated throughout the service. Food identification cards will be available to label dishes, including noting any allergens such as wheat or nuts.

Everyone is invited to attend the service and potluck, even if you cannot bring a dish.
