This fall, Saint Matthew’s will begin sampling readings from A Women’s Lectionary for the Whole Church by the Rev. Dr. Wilda C. Gafney—a bold and thoughtful resource that highlights often-overlooked biblical voices, especially women who prophesied in ancient Israel and the Afro-Asiatic world.

Join Rev. Monica on Sunday, August 10 for a special reflection and Q&A time as we explore how Dr. Gafney’s translations offer us new ways of hearing and responding to God’s Word. This is a space for open-hearted conversation, thoughtful questions, and shared insight as we integrate this lectionary into select worship services this fall.
