Saint Matthew's has been invited to participate in the 2024 Attender Survey, a part of the Exploring the Pandemic Impact on Congregations (EPIC) research project and the Faith Communities Today (FACT) initiative. This survey, conducted by the Hartford Institute for Religion Research, aims to provide religious leaders across traditions with critical data on the changing nature of congregational life since the COVID-19 pandemic.
What makes this survey unique is that it seeks input directly from congregants—people like you who attend in person or online. This is a rare opportunity to share your personal experiences and offer insights into several important topics, including:
How religious participation has changed in recent years
What people think about the online worship experience
The factors that attract new people to some congregations over others
Who should participate?
Any attender of Saint Matthew's over the age of 18 is welcome, whether you’re new or have attended for decades. It only takes 15 minutes to complete!
How to participate:
The 15 minute survey is available online at the following link. Paper copies are available in our office or the Narthex. Please turn them into our office no later than November 3. Debby will mail all of the paper surveys in one envelope. Your feedback is valuable in shaping the future of our community.
Thank you for helping us understand the impact of the pandemic on congregational life and for contributing to this important research!
