This powerful documentary follows filmmaker Katrina Browne and nine of her cousins as they retrace the Triangle Trade and confront the weight of this Episcopal family's legacy as the largest slave-trading family in U.S. history. Following the film, Dain Perry, who is featured in the documentary, and his wife, Constance Perry, will introduce the film and lead a discussion. If you prefer a matinee, a second screening will be held on Saturday, August 15, at 2:00 PM at Saint Anthony on the Desert Episcopal Church (12990 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale). Both screenings are free of charge, and a goodwill donation may be made at the door.
